  The role of engineers has become more important in our currently vast developed scientific world. Engineers have acquired a significant caliber. This is due to their reliability in the industrial units, authorities and companies to cope with rapid significant and technological developments. In order to further the progress and the sustainability of the scientific and research experiences to match global developments, the faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University has developed a curriculum to upgrade the graduate Studies and Research based on credit hours system, to provide advanced academic programs to match the development of different fields and to enhance scientific experience to support the rapid pace of development worldwide.

Vision:
The Faculty of Engineering, Alexandrina University should be a pioneer in engineering sciences on both the Middle Eastern and the African levels in education, scientific research and community service’ that is through the distinction of its faculty members and the availability of education, research programs and the exceptional recourses that is related to the surrounding environment, specially dessert and sea.

Mission:
Preparing outstanding codes of specialists that are creative innovative and capable of working cooperatively through education, learning, teaching, scientific research and knowledge exchange according to the best academic and professional standards in order to serve the needs of the local, national, and international societies and to encourage scientific and technical publishing and contributing to develop the knowledge capabilities of the society individuals and organizations and providing continuous educations.

  • Prepare innovative graduates commanding modern basic sciences, humanities and engineering sciences.
  • Produce the most comprehensively prepared graduates to deal with modern technologies and can apply the state-of-art in information technology.
  • Prepare multidisciplinary graduates capable of interacting effectively with challenges, decision making and problems solving.
  • Offering nontraditional modern language programs to students in order to cope with immensely growing global knowledge.
  • Prepare distinguished graduates capable of presenting their ideas and interacting with the surrounding community.
  • Prepare creative graduates capable of competing in the labor market of new and rapid developments.
  • Prepare talented graduates capable of implicating scientific, engineering methodology, analysis & innovation, who have the desire and capabilities for continuous education.
  • Preparation of scientific cadres of the highest academic and professional standards to conduct academic and applied research relevant to the different engineering disciplines.
